We have received new information about the plot of the fourth part of the movie Resident Evil and its filming.

It was officially announced that the fourth installment of Resident Evil will begin shooting in September 2009 in Toronto. The film will be released in 2010.

The main character, Alice, which again will play Mila Jovovich, will struggle with infected zombies but it wont be the same. There’s an entire army of cloned Alice’s helping her, which formed at the end of Resident Evil 3.

As previously reported, the fourth Resident Evil be known as Resident Evil: Afterlife. The premiere date is scheduled for 17 September 2010.

The third part of Resident Evil: Extinction, released in 2007, has collected approximately $ 150 million worldwide.
